Strategic Procurement for a Sustainable Mediterranean: Join the 2nd ProcuraMED International Workshop in Narni

The Municipality of Narni is pleased to invite stakeholders, experts, and policy makers and general public to the 2nd ProcuraMED International Workshop, titled “How Strategic Procurement Can Drive the Activation of Innovative Circular Value Chains”, which will take place on Tuesday, 20 May 2025, in Narni, from 10:00 to 13:00 CET.

The workshop will focus on the role of strategic procurement in triggering the development of innovative circular value chains. Participants will explore European policy frameworks and dive into successful real-life examples from key sectors such as textiles, plastic waste, and organic waste management. These experiences will be analysed through cross-cutting lenses, including innovation and stakeholder engagement.

A dedicated session of parallel discussion groups will offer participants the opportunity to assess the conditions for implementing, adapting, and replicating these approaches in different local and regional contexts. The event aims to foster meaningful dialogue between policy makers, industry professionals, and other actors involved in Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) and Green Public Procurement (GPP), providing a valuable space for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
By enabling these conversations, the workshop will contribute to strengthening strategic procurement as a lever for sustainable innovation and to spreading best practices throughout the Mediterranean region.
