The course for technicians of public institutions, the initiators of the public procurement process, was held in the form of two separate sessions, on May 7 and 29, 2025, and thematically covered green public procurement, their characteristics, significance and impact on the environment, a presentation of tools on the Unified Platform for Strategic Procurement, the registration process on the unified platform, an overview of its functions, management of platform user profiles and product database search.
The course for representatives of business entities, bidders in the public procurement process, was held on May 28, 2025. The characteristics and concept of green procurement, the Unified Platform and its tools, registration and the use of the database as the most important instrument available to users from this category were presented during the course session.
Also, with reference to the process of public procurement in Bosnia and Herzegovina, course participants were informed about positive European practices and need to apply green criteria during the implementation of public procurement, as well as new procedures related to the procurement of innovative solutions.
With the provided training and future use of the ProcuraMED Unified Platform and innovative tools, the management of tender procedures can be improved, it will be possible to consider not only procurement costs, but also the costs incurred during the total life of the goods and ultimately make the selection of the best offer more reliable.
