As part of the ProcuraMED project, co-funded by the Interreg Euro-MED Programme, the Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών University of Patras hosted two parallel training courses on Green Public Procurement (GPP) and Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI).
Tailored for different audiences:
- One track for public procurers and administration representatives
- Another for SMEs and private sector stakeholders
The day started with a joint session covering key regulations, strategies, and real-world examples. Participants then dove into focused training, including practical use of the Strategic Procurement Unified Platform and Greece’s national e-procurement system (ΕΣΗΔΗΣ).
The event closed with an open discussion, uniting both groups to exchange experiences and tackle shared challenges in sustainable procurement.
A great step forward in building the skills needed to drive green and innovative change through procurement!
